Merhaba
Thank you for making the effort to be with us on the special day. For the ones travelling from afar, we would like to help you plan the trip.
Key Information
We suggest arriving by Thursday, August 27th to settle in before the big day. The wedding festivities will take place on Saturday, August 29th.
Istanbul is a sprawling metropolis bridging two continents. Choosing the right airport and transport can make your arrival much smoother.
Airports
IST (Istanbul Airport)
European Side - Main International Hub
Larger airport with more flight options. Expect a 60-90 min drive (according to the traffic) to the Asian side.
SAW (Sabiha Gökçen)
Asian Side - Closer to Venue
Much closer to Kadıköy and the wedding venue. If staying on the Asian side (as recommended), this is your best bet.
Getting Around
Ferries (Vapur)

Public Transport
The system is extensive. Use Google Maps or Citymapper to navigate the Metro and Marmaray lines. You will need a İstanbulkart to use the public transport.
Taxis & Uber
Available 24/7. Always ensure the meter is turned on when entering a yellow taxi.
