We met in Milan at a dinner organized by our mutual friend Ryan, during our third year of university. Although we knew of each other before, that night was the first proper conversation. We sat across from each other and talked all night.

We traveled to Rome for a long weekend. Walking around the Colosseum and the Vatican, shoving amazing pasta and gelato down, and falling deeper in love.

Medium Distance Relationship
Lorenzo moved to Parma to play rugby. We entered a medium-distance phase, connected by train rides for about two years.

Lockdown in Mauritius
We were really fortunate and spent a few months in Mauritius locked down together and enjoying Sandro's amazing cooking while playing thousands of hours of Misery, Scopa and Poker. After returning, we resumed Milan–Parma medium distance, both graduating, and starting work, life began feeling more adult.

Long Distance Relationship
Eventually, Lorenzo moved to London, turning the relationship into long distance. We met up between London and Milan, and also traveled together to Istanbul, Barcelona, and other spots around the globe.

Our First Home
Pelin moved to London, and we moved in together. We made this new house a home, decorating it and getting furniture together. Lightning, Lorenzo's beagle, became our dog and even though he won't be at the wedding he is really special to us.
